SCHMIDT’SCHE® Synloop Boiler are exposed to very high operating pressures, resulting in huge mass flow densities
and thermal heat fluxes.
The synthesis gas, consisting essentially of hydrogen, nitrogen and ammonia, is under pressures of 200 to 250 bar (2,901 to 3,626 PSI). In the waste heat boiler, the synthesis gas is cooled down from approx. 450 °C (842 °F) to approx. 340 °C (644 °F) whereby high pressure saturated steam of about 120 to 140 bar (1,740 to 2,013 PSI) is produced.
SCHMIDTSCHE SCHACK’s competence in engineering and highly qualified manufacturing guarantees the required high quality of the synloop boiler.
