PROCESS GAS COOLING SYSTEMS IN REFORMER PLANTS FOR AMMONIA, METHANOL AND HYDROGEN PRODUCTION

STEAM REFORMING PROCESS

The basic purpose of the steam reforming process is to produce synthesis gas (CO, H2) from various hydrocarbon feed stocks for example natural gas, refinery off-gases, LPG or naphtha. High value products, such as hydrogen, ammonia and methanol are generated in further steps downstream of the steam reforming reactor in different catalytic processes.

ARVOS' HEAT EXCHANGER SYSTEMS

ARVOS provides heat exchanger systems for all relevant stages in these processes up to the worldwide largest plant sizes. These heat exchangers significantly enhance the productivity of steam reforming, hydrogen, ammonia and methanol plants, ensure plant reliability and minimize costs.
